Dewatering/Filtering Drilling Sediments in De Pere and Manitowoc, Wisconsin

To suppress explosions, mines near the Manitowic River in Wisconsin, were flooding the drill shafts. To resurface this water, Wisconsin DNR had placed a permit level of 40mg/L TSS that the mining company had to achieve. GeotubeĀ® technology was utilized filtering 8 months of mining residuals to below the permit level.
