Svartsjoana, Sweden is the end site of the species diverse and highly valuable Eman river. Svartsjoana, has served as the sedimentation basin for mercury laden pulp fibres coming from a nearby paper mill. Dredging of 260000m3 of Svartsjoana sedimentation began in 2006, being captured in Geotube® units with the addition of polymers.
