NASA flight facility on Wallops Island, Virginia, was severely eroded during the 2006 Hurricane Ernesto. With a scheduled flight a year later, Geotube® technology was used to remediate the beach using 23 Geotube® units, over 4600 feet in length in a speedy 2 month process.
