Stora Enso paper pulp mill uses a 2,000,000 gallon tank to hold its wastewater to allow for the settling out of alum solids. Annually this take needed to be drained. With an expected 60,000-80,000 pounds of solids in the tank, Geotube® technology was used to dewater this tank. A high success rate was achieved with over 99% of total solids captured.
